What is a Carbon Footprint?

Almost everything we do contributes to the greenhouse effect by directly or indirectly causing the emission of CO2 and other greenhouse gases. For example, driving a car necessitates the burning of fossil fuels, which in turn emits CO2. Heating, cooling, manufacturing, air travel, almost all activities associated with modern living cause the emission of CO2 into the atmosphere and hence, create a Carbon Footprint.

Why is Carbon Dioxide bad for the environment?

Carbon Dioxide is destroying the ozone layer, which is a crucial part of the atmosphere, protecting the earth from the sun.

How do I offset my Carbon Footprint?

Even the Amazon Indians emit CO2 when cooking on a fire of twigs, however, this indigenous population and others like it, offset their omissions by allowing the growth of natural forest to continue unmolested, hence neutralising their footprint. Unfortunately in our modern world as a result of the lack of space, it is often impossible for the average person to offset their carbon footprint by planting trees. That is where Offset Emissions come in. We provide the trees for you!
